So this is set to release in Japan during summer. It's titled "Fire Embem If" over there, but the NA version was just called "The latest Fire Emblem game".

I guess it's of some note that the characters now have feet?

Before I knew this was a 3DS title, the dark CG intro had me thinking this could maybe possibly be FE X SMT, but alas, that is not to be.

So FE x SMT is officially dead? Bummer.

I'm psyched for a new FE from the Awakening team. Hopefully they can make the maps a little better in this one. Also excited for feet!

For as much as I disliked Awakening I sure did play a lot of it. The 3D was also really good. I bet this trailer looks great in 3D.

Looks a lot like Awakening, which was hands down one of my favorite games ever, so if this is even a fraction as good as that I'll be really damn happy. Also liking the East v. West thing that seems to be going on in a lot of that trailer; still no FE x SMT, but whatever, this is still rad.

How can they expect me to buy this garbage now that it has feet in it?

I don't know what I was expecting. This looks like Awakening 1.5 to me. Awakening was my first Fire Emblem game so maybe that is just how the franchise is. I did enjoy the characters a lot in Awakening. Excited to hear more about this game.

Nintendo has so many cool things coming out this year. I just posted about the new trailer for Xenoblade Chronicles X a couple seconds ago and it looks great.

I am so hyped for a new Fire Emblem.

I didn't finish Awakening. I don't know if it is because I was busy or if I lost interest (or both). I enjoyed the first two hours or so. Then just never really went back to it. I'll give this a try, probably.
