Overview
Flash Koibito-kun ("Mr. Flash Lover") is a WonderSwan Color exclusive puzzle game from Koto Laboratory, the development studio set up by legendary hardware engineer Gunpei Yokoi. Yokoi also worked on the planning stages for the WonderSwan system itself before passing away before it hit the market.
The goal of the game, as the titular ninja character, is to help a lovelorn young man have his words of affection reach the ears of his female love interests by protecting them as they walk through a course filled with pitfalls. The player can earn bonus combo points by holding up the train of these heart-shaped feelings and delivering multiple of them at once, though keeping them in place can be risky as it means being absent elsewhere where other hearts might need some help.
