    Carol "Foe Hammer" Rawley was the pilot of Pelican dropship Echo 419, and worked closely with the Master Chief and Cortana during the events of Halo: Combat Evolved.

    Overview

    Carol Rawley (call sign: "Foe Hammer") was originally a crew member of the UNSC ship Pillar of Autumn. After the ship approached Alpha Halo and came under attack from Covenant forces, Rawley boarded a Pelican ship and made her way down onto Halo. At multiple points throughout the game she is able to aid in the battle on the installation by transporting marines, vehicles, and the Master Chief and Cortana across Halo. At the end of the game, as Halo is being destroyed, she attempts to provide the Chief and Cortana with transport off of the ring, but is shot down by Covenant Banshees before they can reach her, and dies on the installation.
