Formula 1 takes down logos on GiantBomb

Wow, that sucks. Shouldn't it come under fair use laws though?

Formula 1, being an active organization could just keep renewing all their licenses much like the NFL or NBA.

That...kind of sucks. That must smart for the GB crew. I don't get why they would do that, though. Is this directed at GiantBomb or at all websites not affiliated with Formula 1? Unless I'm mistaken, that is pretty much them saying, "Hey, sorry, you are far too obscure to have any of our imagery on your shitty website."

I'm sure it's a copyright issue - the image(s) were probably ripped from the Formula 1 site by a user and uploaded without permission.  No big deal.
