The Formula One franchise has games based on the exciting and fast racing series of the same name. The franchise has had its ups and downs in the gaming realm.

That...kind of sucks. That must smart for the GB crew. I don't get why they would do that, though. Is this directed at GiantBomb or at all websites not affiliated with Formula 1? Unless I'm mistaken, that is pretty much them saying, "Hey, sorry, you are far too obscure to have any of our imagery on your shitty website."
I'm sure it's a copyright issue - the image(s) were probably ripped from the Formula 1 site by a user and uploaded without permission. No big deal.
