Build Another Desk?

I don't know if I'm the only one who read far too much into what Vinny said.
 
When Vinny said he'd build another desk, and the ensuing comment, did anyone else think they were implying taking on another member of staff? After the recent layoffs at Gamespot it would make sense.

I'm just wondering if I was the only who read further into it than was apparent at face value?

I believe Brad has said that they're planning on taking on someone to work on the community side of things on the site, perhaps they're nearly ready to do this.

Vinny had two desks and we had to give one up to build a game footage capture station. So he has a bunch of stuff all over the floor now.
