Don't know if this has been suggested or not. I think the bombcast should post links to the stories they've talked about and maybe even pictures of the drinks/food.

Most of the time they have the news up on the website. All you have to do is check regularly to know what they're talking about. As for the drinks/food, that's what Google is for.
Edit: To summarize, it's a lot of work making a podcast. They don't have enough time for shownotes, although honestly I'm not sure how much work it is. Seems like it might be a bit.
