So, how long until we reach four-hour Bombcasts?

The past few have been over three hours, and it's consistently been about three hours for the past several months.

How long until we get to four?

1.5 months.

Well, judging by things, any extra time that goes into the Bombcast seems to come out of TNT.

When they hire someone else so the whatcha playing and random talk takes longer?

There has been several 4 hour casts already.

Just think. In like 2 years there will be 8 hour bombcasts.

Maybe they should bring back the drink tasting segment, but instead of drinking bullshit energy drinks, they should drink some of that tasty goddamn Scotch whisky that's strewn about their workspace.

Probably only on certain occasions. Doesn't seem to matter how long they are, even if a bunch of games are or will be coming out. Take max payne 3. It was barely discussed on it. Dont even believe they mentioned kingdom hearts 3ddd. It seems like the bomb crew are focusing on the B games. The downloadables get more talk than absolutely anything anymore.

Feels more like a different bomb than it was even a year ago.

I believe it would take four hours to get a 4 hour podcast. Also I don't think they will, too long don't you think?

This reminds me of dear old Talkradar, some episodes went well past three hours and even over four, but by then it was nearly incoherent drunken ramblings. I wouldn't mind the Bombcast stepping up to their level.

I don't know, when there are actually games to talk about, they seem to get burned out faster. I think out of 3 hours, less than half of it was actual discussion of games.

And I like that. A lot.

I feel like at some point Emails will have to become a separate podcast since there hasn't been much time for them in recent podcasts. Maybe include news and new releases on the Emails podcast. That way we can get a two hour podcast on Tuesday about whatcha been playing & tangents with a second two hour podcast later in the week.

As soon as possible. As long as the quality stays high, they can be as long as they want.

I wouldn't mind it. Kinda seems like it's been sparse for content lately, so extra bombcast is great.

A year ago Kingdom Hearts would have been reviewed by an intern so they wouldn't have talked about it at all. Kingdom Hearts is a B game and downloadables are more interesting.

I have to fill the time between Bombcasts with other podcasts that are nowhere near as good.

They seemed to have implied at least thinking about it.

I need 12hrs of bombcast 7 days a week. Unless I'm on vacation and then I'll settle for less.

Also I want a Karen and Gary Whitta spinoff podcast.

There have been three four hour Bombcasts. E3 2011 Day One (4:25), E3 2011 Day Two (4:37) and E3 2012 Day Two (4:10). The longest non-special Bombcast (GOTY/E3) was 3-13-2012 (3:24).  Making this week's the second longest non-GOTY/E3 podcast and the 10th longest ever.

I hope they eventually reach a point where they spend literally their entire Tuesday recording a podcast.

Not long enough. I loved the latest Bombcast. It had a great pace to it. If they're gonna stick to a five man set up, then at least have it like this and not feel like they have to rush through shit.

Made my time collecting all the collectibles and whatnot in Sleeping Dogs very enjoyable

Oh, I'm loving the nonsense questions, it's basically twenty minutes to a half hour of what I imagine just gets cut from most MBMBAM episodes, but of course I think that stuff is fantastic. I'm just noticing it's shorter in general. Did they really hit five or six this week? Geez, I must've stopped paying attention towards the end there.

@thechronodarkness: There was a lot of talk about Max Payne 3 over a couple of weeks. Also Kingdom Hearts DDD was talked about, they went into a whole thing about trying to work out the back story of that series

In the early years the emails were where all the tangents came from and the start of the show was actually about games. Now that the tangents are at the top of the show they rapid fire the emails without tangents. We could double up the tangents if we had a second podcast.

I would listen to a 24 hour Bombcast.
