My only complaint would be that it reminds me more of a wolf with the pronounced teeth and small antlers.
Although, that might have also be intentional.

Yes I was thrilled to see them start up another podcast. As someone who has 2 hour commute to work podcasts are the only thing that make that ride bearable the bombcast being my favorite one. Now I feel like I'm getting twice the bombcast!

I think Justin is doing a great job. He totally fits in tonally and has a confident sense of what he likes. I'm both jealous and super happy for him. I'm can't wait to hear more of his opinions.

Not that the original Bombcast isn't great but listening to the Beastcast you forget how much Vinny added to the show. As someone who doesn't have the time to watch most of the video content it is so great to have Vinny back after he seemingly fell off the face of the Earth several years ago, save for the times he would occasionally pop-up on the Bombcast.

i love the beast cast but the format on the bomb cast is better.

Beastcast really has that energy and goofiness that I remember from some of the best Bombcast moments -- so in love with it. But Bombcast has Brad as sleeper-maybe-best-host-ever, and when Jeff is in the zone fucking watch out.

Either way I got my GB mug today so no matter what coast I'm on I still feel licensed and fully qualified to comment on video game press conferences.

It's certainly no clip-on tie!

I am totally on the Beast Coast side of Giant Bomb these days. Lately I have begun to enjoy the West Coast content less and less, both podcasts and video things. I have found myself disagreeing with a lot of their opinions on things and I don't really care about things they care about (and vice versa) also the cynicism can be overbearing at times. But the Beast Coast seem much more fun and open minded. The bubbly enthusiasm of Vinny and Austin is balanced out by the healthy cynicism of straight man Alex and they are much more likely to dive in to new and interesting things without completely dismissing stuff they hadn't liked in the past. Some pole will say that Dan balances out the cynicism in the west but I'd disagree, he's only ever enthusiastic about very specific things whilst everything else is "the worst thing ever".
