On the Apple TV app, from the app's home page, selecting "Latest" crashes the app. (The app goes to a white screen then it pulls you out of the app to the Apple TV home screen.)

I believe this happened yesterday due to me watching "PokéMonday Night Combat - 01/28/2019", then pausing half way through to watch the Giant Bombcast live.

After the Giant Bombcast and the Aftershow had finished, I went back to watch the PokéMonday video but it asked if I would like to resume the video at a time stamp that I think was the end of the video (it said "Resume Playback at 1:37:38") instead of the time stamp of where I previously paused the video. I selected this and then it didn't play the video.

Now going into "Latest" crashes the app, but because I have the Giant Bomb app placed as one of the 5 apps on the top row of my Apple TV menu, it shows the Latest Videos as large thumbnails at the top. So I can watch the latest videos that way but not within the app itself.

I have also noticed after going on the Giant Bomb website that the progress bar on the PokéMonday video doesn't seem to be working properly (and only on this specific video). It shows the progress bar but it is not at all filled in with any red progress. See the screenshot:

I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling it but that didn't fix anything.

I presume resetting my video progress in the database could help fix it but you don't allow users control over removing progress bars on videos.

Glad I'm not alone on this. I also started "PokéMonday Night Combat - 01/28/2019" this morning, paused at the 7 minute mark to go do chores, and then came back to the Apple TV home page. Every attempt to load the Latest feed results in a crash. Thanks for looking into it, Rorie.

Just wanted to give an update.

Now that there are at least 9 videos that are newer than the PokeMonday video in the Latest videos, it's not until I scroll down to load the next 3 videos which includes the PokeMonday video that the app crashes.

Same issue here as well. Thought it was just me until I started searching.

Same exact issue here.

Cue one of those huge sighs of relief when you find out your super obscure, weird as shit problem is actually happening to other people and not just you.

@ashbash: @matt_h: @dj88: Can you try rebooting your devices and trying this again? I think the problem might've been with an actual video that was published rather than the app itself.

I haven't tried since Wednesday, but I have the same issue, but it's when trying to watch VinnyVania (I am a few episodes into the game after Simon's Quest). I click on VinnyVania and try to scroll down to the episode I am at. Whenever it hits the video I last watched, it crashes. I hard restarted the app, restarted the apple tv (shut it down from menu, unplug power, etc), and even uninstalled/reinstalled the app.

Wait. When did this app get acquired by CBS? I thought it was a lone developer that made this.
