Problem changing an account details

I was trying to update my email and password. I would make a change, put in my password, and it would tell me I put in the wrong password. So, I logged out, indicated I forgot my password, and I was able to update it. I then went to change my email, used my new password, and it worked sending a confirmation email to the new address. I get the email, click the link, and I get a 500 error. Now, when I try to change my username, I'm being told the new password doesn't work.
