First, notifications are broken. People tell me they're fixed, but I checked my settings and notifications are definitely checked (but not emails, which I don't want)

Second, I'm unable to log in from one of my home computers. It tells me I need to authenticate my email, but I received no email to authenticate.

@veektarius: So, you don't see this message in your notifications? That's weird; I'll ask an engineer to look into it.

So far as the authentication stuff goes, it's really weird that that's only happening on one computer. Are you able to login/logoff on other computers in the household?
