Combine: Metal Gear Solid 5 & The Phantom Pain

The Phantom Pain (working title) is now the same game as Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, so the former should be folded into the latter.

Update: Konami head of PR told Siliconera and Joystiq that Ground Zeroes is still a separate game from MGS5: Phantom Pain. So you might actually want to change The Phantom Pain (working title) to Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain and the existing MGS5: Phantom Pain page back to Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes at least for the time being.

Yeah from what I get, they're both MGS5 in some way. Whether they'll both be titled that is to be seen, but they are part of the same story.

This is very confusing and not a very wiki friendly way of announcing games.

Yeah, I am very excited for, as Jeff put it, the video game equivalent of Use Your Illusion and Use Your Illusion II.

Konami has said Phantom Pain and Ground Zeros are two separate games, so The Phantom Pain (Working Title) should be renamed Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain should be renamed Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes. Kojima's tweet pretty clearly just meant they're two halves of the same story, not that they're necessarily the same game, and Konami PR has now confirmed that.

This is the course of action that we will be taking as of right now until further notice.
