The PSP's PSN and the PS3's PSN share the same platform page: Playstation Network.

Shouldn't they be seperated? It could be kinda confusing.  Someone might say -"The only platform listed for Burn Zombie Burn! is 'Playstation Network'. So does that mean its for the PS3 or PSP?"

DSiWare and WiiWare have separate pages, so I agree. But how would we distinguish the two pages (besides the actual body of the page)?

That's the main problem I see as well. Even though they offer games for different systems, it uses the exact same name for both. How do we differentiate the two?

Assuming the wiki was filled out, it might state it as a ps3 psn game. Alternately, and perhaps a better way, would be to give both the platforms; psn and ps3.

You bring up a valid question, but our stance is that since Sony doesn't differentiate between the two, there's no reason for us to. DSiWare and WiiWare do exist as separate platforms but Nintendo also treats them as separate entities. There are specific DSiWare releases and WiiWare releases. Sony treats PSN as one single platform. Just look at their E3 press conference. Their segments on PSN showed off montages that included both PSP games and PS3 games. Yet they talked about the two interchangably with everything relating to one place, PSN.

Basically, we follow the same line that the companies do. It's for the same reason that we made sure that InFamous page was spelled inFAMOUS, despite the fact that it's a pain in the ass to type and it looks kinda weird.

Perhaps we could have concept to differentiate them? For example "PSN games for PSP". Even with that it would still be impossible to see which games are on the PSP or PS3 by glimpsing the main game page but it would be possible to eventually filter them out if ever we get the tool to do so.

PSN also has specific releases. There are PSN games that only come out for the PSP, like Beats and Patapon 2.  And there are PSN games that only come out on the PS3.

@Not_Rage: But they aren't PS3 or PSP-specifc stores labeled as such by Sony. Everything is simply released on the PSN. DSiWare and WiiWare exist completely separate from each other, and you can't go to the same place to get games for both systems. They don't even share the same currency. PSN acts as the same distribution point for both PSP and PS3 downloadable games. Sony, in fact, often emphasizes this point by treating the PSN as a "one-stop shop" of sorts for all your Playstation needs.
