Hello, Motorsport fans!

Oh yes! Forza Motorsport Reboot has finally confirmed this game will have the ability to choose tire compound tires, can change them before a session or either during the race sections via pitstops, which consist of the soft, medium, and hard.

Forza Motorsport to Feature Brand New Tire Model, Tire Compounds (gtplanet.net)

For the earlier installments of Forza Motorsport, I don't get why the developer refused to have tire compound options before this, unlike in the PlayStation 2's Gran Turismo 4 (Released back in late 2004), the first GT game to feature tire compound change via pitstop.

Haven't played a Forza Motorsport game for years (I think Forza 2 or 3), but that seems like a weird omission for a sim racing game considering how vital different tyre compounds are to strategy in many racing series.
