Alan Wake CE + DLC + Arcade Spinoff 4 Bucks On Steam

So if you were watching the Xbox Reveal thing, you probably saw that trailer from Remedy and got mind fucked, if you have not played a Remedy game i highly recommend playing Alan Wake. Remedy has a sort of touch that no other game Dev has.

I'm not just saying this because it's probably my favorite game this generation (to long to explain)

Yeah, I just was about to write something up about this. I just got all of it except the signal. That's a hell of a deal. Also, on Steam, Dead Space 1 and 2 can be bought together for $9.99.

Buy them all. It would take you less than 20-25 hours our so to complete all of them.

Bought the games from Humble Bundle. Started American Nightmare today since I never played it.

Really enjoyed Alan Wake so I chipped in to this bundle. The shitload of bonus content was enticing as well.

$60 spent on the Humble Weekly Sale because Charity, that's why!
All the extra stuff you get aside from the games is fantastic as well but yeah, when I saw that sale within the first 10 seconds of it coming up I just bought it without thinking.
Then after that I saw the Sam Lake video, he looks so, I don't know, sad? He's not super happy.

@jakob187: I dropped another $5 even though it's just for the American Nightmare score and the Night Springs video in HD. I'm just happy to support games that go a little left of field story wise and feed into my love of Twilight Zone and Twin Peaks.

Yeah i have a couple of sealed copies on the 360.

i just got it for £6 (about what it is normally in a steam sale) and looking at the bonus content in this i feel guilty for it. your getting a good bang for your buck with this, i would have payed more for palm springs alone never mind early demos and comics. if your a alan wake fan i recommend throwing down some money for all the extras its for a good cause at the end of the day.

I know it's not as good a deal as this and you don't get any of the bonuses, but the original game is also on sale for $5 on the Xbox Marketplace.

No you haven't. I've just got the Collector's Editions for both the Xbox and the PC. I still ended up buying a third copy.

Looking forward to playing this again on PC, but the game is borked. 10fps slideshow on my system that can max out Tomb Raider. Huh.

So is it just me or does not having a "Beat the Average!" incentive for these bundles really lower the average donation?

It's currently sitting at $2.20 - I'm sure the average is usually a lot higher for most bundles.

I bought the bundle purely because of that video with Sam Lake. Goddamn I love Remedy, and even if I don't own a PC, I will support those guys!

It's a little sad seeing the price so low, but it's peoples own choice if they just wanna spend $0.01 on it, I guess. (If that's even possible, I could never be scummy enough to scam people out of money)

I like the game so far (just got to chapter 4 after buying the bundle yesterday) but those fucking things that fly at you annoy me so bad.

The combat in particular kinda annoys me, I liked it enough when it was 3 guys at most but when it gets to 6 guys... UGH.

Still, I enjoy it mostly because bright falls is basically Klamath Falls, Oregon (I know it's in Washington but Cauldron Lake is pretty much Crater Lake so)

Yeah all the bonus stuff made me bump up my cash. All crazy to see Alan Wake in 2005

@thetenthdoctor: Yeah, I admit that they did a really shitty job at optimizing it, but I played it on low settings, and it still looked fantastic to me (especially the lighting). Not sure how low settings compare to the 360 version though.

It does kind of suck because you expect such an old console game to run well on any decent system (my 3 year old laptop has had no problem maxing out games developed on consoles first. For christs sake, I can run crysis 2 better than this game).
