Anyone thinking of cancelling their PS4 or Xbox One preorder

and buy a Ouya instead? It's cheap, it got tons of great games, actually let's just scratch tons and great from that sentence, and it's small. It's certainly smaller than XONE or PS4. You got to admit that. I mean think about it.

Why?

1. Limited allocations. People want to be guaranteed one asap and pre-ordering does this.
2. Appeal of the next generation. Regardless of if there are good games out for the consoles on day 1 or not, they're still new consoles and that's appealing to many.
3. There will be no price drop on the new consoles for a very long time. Waiting will not save one money on them.

I cancelled my PS4, I think I just got carried away by the hype, and as time passed the idea just seemed really silly. The only launch game I could really see myself playing would be Knack but it certainly isn't something I'm burning to play. When The Last of Us 2 comes out I might get one and maybe be able to save a bit of money too.

Instead I'm building a small mid range gaming pc, you could say I'm building a Steam Box ;)

We got an Ouya through the Kickstarter. It was turned on twice in the first two weeks and hasn't been touched since. That was many weeks ago now.

I still have my PS4 preorder, because you know, that doesn't actually cost anything on Amazon.

PS4? Fuck that. I cancelled my pre order and bought 4 Ouya's man. Best decision I've ever made in my life.

No see, I double down and I'm getting both.

I simply haven't even done it. I don't see me getting a Xbone just due to MS kind of going up their own butt with policies, then off the deep end with the initial drm and kinect push still. Plus my 360 RRoD'd like 5 times.

The PS4 is still up in the air, but do I really want to go and buy a console that will have too small of a HDD or give me hardware problems later.

Why? If you can imagine anything in the world I'm sure you can imagine people who have $400 to throw around. Even some kid sitting ass deep in the Ganges River with shit floating by can imagine SOME people have $400.
