it's always cool to see stuffs in slow motion, for the 1st time at least.
It seem that games are abusing it a little too much by having it trigger during gameplay whenever 'x' or 'y' happens; IE Head shots, QTE and counter attacks.
I personally find it really irritating.  It interrupt the flow of games too much.
I guess it's one way to make games more mainstream  without dumping anything down since not everyone has good reflexes to Press the counter button within split second.
I just wish there's at least an option to turn them off.

I think the only time I've experienced good slow motion is in Max Payne. It's alright in FEAR, too. But it's by far the worst in movies. I hate near all slow-mo scenes. After watching 24, you realize that action in real time at real speed looks 100% better.

Slow mo in movies is over used, but in some cases it's needed (like imagine Wanted if they didn't slow anything down, just like; "Curve the bullet" "Ok" BANG. Done.)

In games though I like the feeling of slow-mode, it was one of the only things I liked about MW2's SP.

Games need more slo-mo. At least good slo-mo.

Max Payne 1 & 2 slo-mo, was great. Max Payne the movie slo-mo, was dumb.
