People with a lot of money have $8000 to drop on PC's I suppose.  Specialty, prebuilt boutique PC's have always been a niche upmarket product.  However, I will say that I've never seen anything as weird as the hybrid console PC before.  Hilarious find sir!

It should be noted that 8K is the base cost; the highest end version I believe approaches 20K (that's the one with the dual OC'd Xeons + Quad SLI GTX 480 FTW editions).

Dudes, also, there's a liquid cooled Xbox 360 Slim integrated inside. No RRODs? Priceless.

I heard it was $16000. $8000 is still way to much.

So basically they either stole this from the government or it fell out of a timewarp, because for that much cash it should be able to run anything for many many many many years to come.

That should be enough to max out crysis with full AA and run it averagely at 60 frames per second, hopefully.

I read about this thing and even if I had that much money to spare I wouldn't spend it all on a PC. Still, it does look pretty awesome.

From watching the tested PC build stuff I understand that you can build a computer that can run pretty much anything for $1500. If you spent $2000 on a new computer every year for the next four years do you think the fourth computer would be comparable to the $8000 beast. (Of course you would have to duct tape your xbox to your PC to get the same awesomeness factor)
