Arrow Pointing Down Podcast

  Ok so I love The Bombcast, it leaves me in stitches every time and theres alot of good informative content in there aswell as a bunch of random laughs. I searched on iTunes for the Bombcast and at the very bottom are three episodes of the Arrow Pointing Down Podcast, basically it's just a podcast run by Ryan and Jeff where they talk about random stuff, they after this went onto the Bombcast where games took the front seat, and over time alot of the stuff they talked about in the APD Podcast had gone, a few things I would like to see back in the current Bombast would be 
   
  Energy drinks
• Chocolate Bars
• More random stuff

 
Anybody else listended to it?

Yeah, I've recently gone all the way back to the beginning and have been listening to all the Bombcasts I missed.  
I liked the drink tastings too, but those have basically been put into the Mailbag videos.

I listened to it every week from when it was still called that. 
 
Those were heady days. Although I do think the energy drink testing got played out and was not included unnecessarily. So I think they did well with that.

This is basically waht they do when they do their iphone broadcasts.  The Bombcast is pretty much bursting as it is.

It's almost as if all that content they squeeze into the podcast and Friday show could be spread about more effectively...

Those go way back, before Giantbomb and the Bombcast was a thing.  
It was a good time back then, even the "Giantbomb beta" was a good time.

The drinks portion of the show was cool and all - but really it all just boiled down to "This tastes like [a variant of] Squirt!" I think the Bombcast is way better without it. Those were good days though.

I thought they stopped doing the drink stuff on the podcast regularly because they had worked through every energy drink they could find. Now they just do it with the foreign stuff they get sent

podcasts... where a bunch of guys are sitting around a microphone and TALKING :D :D :D no thanks !

I cared extremely little for the beverage tastings, but that's just me. Really, I listen to the Bombcast for the game discussions first and foremost, and thus think the current format (new games - gaming news - emails and questions) is absolutely perfect.

I def miss the drink tastings. Those were most amusing.

If you want more mailbag videos then send them sonething original :)
 
Only so many times you can film a box of energy drinks or foreign candy.
 
Intern videos seem to fill the niche of random office candid footage.  They need to hire a new intern.  Maybe instead of hiring a college student they should look for someone unemployed - that way they could hang on to them (re: exploit them) for 6 months or more.  I would say high school grads but then they can't make beer runs.
