I was going to mention Mass Effect, but I always talk about Mass Effect. Still, watching Wrex talk is a visual treat. Still, all the texture pop-in made me hestitant to mention it. When it is working, it is beautiful though.

Anyway, the best way to get people to think your game is marvel is to brag about it. Look at Lionhead's one button combat. That's sort of been done before.
Hmm, technically, clearly Crysis, it looks beautiful on very-high with a 1920 resolution, breathtaking on the first hill over-looking a sun-rise.
As for art-direction, I just LOVE the style and fluidity of the latest Prince of Persia, it looks great in screen-shots, and even better in motion. My favorite game graphically so far this generation
