I'm contemplating getting Dragon Age 2 ... I did not get to finish the first game I have it for PC, but With the upgrades to the combat I'm wondering if now it is better on console than it is PC.

I'm just wondering if I should get it for PC or for PS3

Personally, I think the PC version is the better of the two.

I was going to say that but I told myself I was going to be the only one to laugh.

Good one, mate.

A good rule of thumb to go by is if its made by bioware it is probably better to have the PC version.

Save your money and just play the first one. I wish I did. If you are dead set on torturing yourself with that POS then wait for this Christmas when Steam will no doubt have it on sale for $10-$20.

If your PC can handle it, then definitely the PC version. Most of the mods seem to be interested in making people naked, or ruining the character design of companions, but there are a few out there that can really shape the gameplay to your preferences.

Also, if your computer was made in the last three years, it probably can't handle it. Might wanna upgrade first.

You can plug in an X-box controller if you want.  I love the game but as you can see others disagree so I'm not sure if you'll like it or not regardless.

It depends on whether you want to pause your game an think things through strategically a lot, or if you want a more action-y, hack and slash experience.
