So I want to play something off steam on this fantastic christmas. I want to get one of the older fallout games but I am not too sure if they are still accessible. I have some stuff but I was wondering if I should get some fallout or something else?

Torchlight
Braid
Monkey Island SE

Some of the best Indie/Casual games are literally a couple of $ and £'s good time to pick up on games you may have miss. I've already spent like $20 and got like 6 games

I know I have spent like 30 bucks so far. Steam is kind of crazy. I got Torchlight and am really enjoying it.

I can also really recommend Aquaria and the Shadowgrounds pack for the lesser known games.

Aquaria's really really up there though.

Cool! But I kind of really want Fallout or Fallout 2 and I am just not sure if I will enjoy it.
Also is Trine any good. Brad use to talk about it all the time.

Steam has the Fallout Collection, which includes Fallout 1, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics for $20.   Sadly, none of the Fallout games are on sale right now.

As for Trine, there's a demo up on Steam.

Steam had Braid on sale for $2.50. That's a ridiculous deal for arguably one of the best platformers of all time. Also, World of Goo was also $5, which is epic.

As for old games, I'd suggest the Jedi Knight package, if they still have it on sale for $10 like yesterday. It comes with Jedi Knight II, Jedi Outcast, Jedi Academy, and some of the older games in the series as well, which are all excellent.

I second that, Slip.
