I'm out of games to play, I have played EVERYTHING, well I mean that I care about, and have nothing to play until that silent hill collection i guess, I got 20 bucks worht of points and am interested in deadly premonition, in the ironic giantbomb way, and Bully because I've heard good things here on the site, I didn't watch the endurance run, so I don't know about deadly premonition except it's supposedly hilarious and the gameplay is shit.
Deadly Premonition or Bully?
Haven't finished Bully yet, got stuck on music puzzles which I'm never good at, but it's a great game to get into. There's a lot in Deadly Premonition that wasn't in the ER with some of the side missions but that too is a fun underrated game. Both should be easy to get into though as stated in other places, go with the 360 version of Bully, keep hearing bad things about the pc controls. GLHB!
wait i just checked some reviews, they say bully has major bugs that make the game crash and stuff, hmmmmm, can't decide lol
judging by the first 5 minute of each episode 1 video (brad ryan) (jeff vinny) think i'll go with watching jeff and vinny, i'm not gonna fucking watch both.
I watched the entire endurance run and played Bully frantically on my holiday break (got 100% in it) i'd definitely recommend Bully.
That said, I will definitely make my way through deadly premonition someday... dunno why
I played Bully on the 360 and can attest that the load times are much much better than what I saw described in reviews, in fact most load times went incredibly fast (I played the games on demand version)
Framerate issues pop up mostly in wide open areas, but I never failed anything due to that, it's a minor thing really.
Some achievements may bug out, but you don't have to replay what you did to get them, simply quit the game and reload your save and they pop right up

@TrashMustache: My advice:
- Watch the Endurance Run
- Play Bully
What he said. Because Bully is actually, you know, good.
Also the Brad and Ryan one is real good if you enjoy seeing one dude get agitated at another for playing bad. Go back and watch it later.
My advice:
1. Watch both Endurance Runs
2. Play Deadly Premonition
...
Or you could just play Bully instead - that would probably be better.

lol,
I love all the hate DP gets by brown nosers and gaming snobs haha
DP is fun if you don't mind some things being sub par or things they learned how to fix in games about 10 years ago. I love DP mainly for its story- the game play is kind of bad, and no one can deny that part, but it has a charm that makes up for it (that's my opinion, many people would disagree).
Dont bother with it if you cant stand the sound of that.
Bully is an open world game where you play a young kid in school. The draw to this is living out some weird fantasy of being a kid and breaking all the rules. I'm not saying its not fun, but that's what the game is. Its fairly well made, and runs on most anything (I have it on PS2 and PC. Never got the PC version to work though).
I've hears bad things about the PC version and the 360 version is buggy as shit, the wii version controls like shit, the ps2 version looks like shit, and deadly premonition is shit. I recommend the 360 version of Bully.
@DarthOrange: They fixed most of the bugs for Bully post launch. I played the game a couple of years ago on PC and didn't have any problems at all. It's an amazing game, and I'd take it over DP every day. DP has absolutely shit gameplay and an OK story in a cheesy, B movie kind of way. Wouldn't recommend it, really.
This thread just makes me think how great a Bully ER would be, especially since Brad has never played it before, wants to (because like a month ago every told him he should), but probably never will.

If this is true then I recommend the PC version. I'm still playing through the 360 version (played it twice on PS2) and it has some problems.
Deadly Premonition is one of my favorite games of all time, and easily my top game of 2010. The gameplay is kind of mediocre, but it's not even close to unplayable, and the story is pretty amazing. There are a lot of supremely outdated features, but that's why I play Deadly Premonition more as an oddity than as a "modern game." Personal opinion? You should play Deadly Premonition for $20 now. Also, this site will eventually try to ruin that game for you, so play it quickly! I suggest "Easy Mode", though, to speed up the pace during some of the longer combat zones.
(For reference, I didn't watch the Endurance Runs beyond the first few episodes, and that was when I was considering whether I should purchase the game or not. I have also played through the game two and a half times on the normal difficulty, the two times I finished the game with guests in tow.)
