Halo Reach is released tonight at Midnight, of course I will not be waiting in line. I waited in line for my cat helmet years ago and didn't even play the game when I got home. Having to be up early because you have a job is a blessing and a curse. Anyway.... tomorrow is the day. I pretty much talked myself out of the Legendary Edition a long time ago, until last night. I know that if I happen to see that version sitting on the shelf I will end up getting it. But $150?!!! That is half a new xbox, A new Wii, 150 McDoubles....

You should have done what I did an order it a while ago on Amazon so you wouldn't be temped to change your mind. They even have that thing that makes sure you get in it the mail the day it comes out. 
 
I can't wait to get my Limited Edition in the mail tomorrow. I'm so excited!

Update: They did have the Legendary Edition, but I showed restraint and bought the Limited Edition instead. With the LE I got a $25 gift card, an Intec Camo Headset and a large cardboard Reach poster. Gotta love launch day!

I too lined up at midnight for my MW2 'more money than sense edition'. I wasn't really a giant MW fan, even though I have enjoyed them both. Good to experience the 'hype' at least one. Oh and the goggles... think I've used them twice...indoors...for about 2 minutes.

I usually just get the edition that has the steel box.  Take that plastic.

I picked up the Legendary Edition. The statue is surprisingly well crafted and put together. With the exception of Mass Effect 2 and Halo 3, I typically don't buy special editions. I just love Halo.

I just dropped several hundred on books for school, and am going to purchase a new laptop due to the fact that my screen is dead.....so yeah, I personally can't justify spending $150 for something that I don't need.

Look at it as an investment.  Video Games are the new comic books.  In 30 years that Box art and game will be worth a nice buck.  Even  NES cartridges alone, sell well today.  Think of how much that gold Link to the Past will be worth in 20 years.  
 
They make limited editions for a reason.  It's just like first and second prints with comic books.  Halo will still be around in 2025, and that copy you got will be valuable to fanboys, the way Star Wars figures are today.   
 
Protip: Fanboys never die off and always want more.
