Do you think Uncharted 2 and Demon Souls were the best two games?

Do you think they were this year? 
 
From what i saw on Game Trailers and Destructoid, these two games won in every category they are in. 
 
I'm not bashing the games, but like someone said "where everyone is thinking the same maybe they aren't thinking too much", or the games are that good.  
 
But aren't there any other  to pick this year?

as an owner and avid player of both, Yes. 

Since I haven't played them, I can't say "yes." That would have to go to Phantom Brave and Professor Layton, the only two games I remember.

honestly i'd have to say yes, at least for uncharted as i haven't picked DS up yet. i've played a ton of other releases this year and none of them can come close to what uncharted 2 has accomplished imo.

i havent played demons souls, its not out in europe, but from what ive seen, it wouldnt even be in the top 10, let alone the best.
 
Uncharted 2 tho can easily be someone's goty tho (its not mine, because i love borderlands probably more than i should)
