E3 Day 2 is about to begin in a couple hours, but I'd promised to blog about my E3 exploits on Giant Bomb, so here I am typing up a quickie recap. Between my professional obligations to adventuregamers.com and my personal obligations to getting at least six hours sleep, I simply don't have time to write up a full blog post with previews of each and every game I touched yesterday. For an adventure game-centric Day 1 recap, check out my E3 Day 1 Wrap-Up article on AG.
All told, I played 17 games yesterday. Not bad for six hours, I think. I had an absolute blast. Everything you've heard about E3 is true. So what I'm going to do here is list all the games I played, and if anyone has a question about any of them, post a comment and I'll respond to you as soon as I can. In fact, if you have any E3-related questions at all, go ahead and ask.
- Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box (DS)
- The Legendary Starfy (DS)
- Picross 3D (DS)
- Wii Sports Resort (Wii)
- New Super Mario Bros. (Wii)
- Tastunoko vs. Capcom (Wii)
- Dark Void (360)
- Batman: Arkham Asylum (PS3)
- Women's Murder Club: Games of Passion (DS)
- Chronicles of Mystery: Curse of the Ancient Temple (PC)
- Chronicles of Mystery: The Tree of Life (PC)
- Muramasa: The Demon Blade (Wii)
- Sin & Punishment 2 (Wii)
- Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story (DS)
- Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (PS3) -- Co-op mode only
- Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time (PS3)
- Trine (360)
Wow! It looks like even more when I type it out. Most of these games were pretty cool, especially Dark Void, Batman, Trine, and Picross 3D.
Today I have a lot of appointments for AdventureGamers.com, but I still hope to get in a few more games on the floor. Tomorrow is my free day, no work obligations, so I'll be playing as many games as I possibly can!
