Kept getting deja vu in this one, remembering Bulter Library at Columbia University.

Rosa is so goddamn terrible in this. In fact a lot of the voice acting is pretty poor in here; the only decent VA is Ethan Thomas', naturally because he's voiced by Greg Gunburg, though it's a shame he doesn't actually have much of a good script to work with. I think that's a definite improvement made with Condemned 2. Actually from what I've seen thus far I'd say Condemned 2 is simply a better game overall. Much more varied combat with combos and fist attacks and using toilet seats as a weapon (!!!), voice acting is an improvement and you can, eventually, unlock the ability to store a damn dog diggity firearm. Oh and the investigation mechanics are significantly improved in Condemned 2. It actually requires you to think and investigate, instead of just using hunting down a couple of semen patches.

The actual atmosphere and scare factor is definitely on par, though. Plus Condemned 2 got a little too zany nearing the end with that screwy scream-attack you'd unlock.

Serial Killer X gonna give it to ya. At the moment, I don't care how long you guys run with Condemned, it's awesome.

By the way, I think that sub-machine gun was a Grease Gun from WWII. It's still weird that it shows up in a library at the corner of Crazy and Lunatic though.

You guys are really powering through this. If only you showed where all the birds and metal shards were, you could've doubled it up with your video walkthrough duties.

I'd say put the intro bit in there only when you start a new game, but that might be what you guys are already doing. It's a bit long, but anyone could jump into any Fear Gauntlet game with it there. No-one's going to try to start one of these at part 5 or whatever though, so the intro's unnecessary in that case.

oh man. i can't wait to see them do the school section if they go that far. it's one of my favorite parts of the game.

No. Condemned 2 may be improved gameplay wise but it is nowhere near as scary as the first game. It´s like the goddamn Exorcist 2- some good ideas and actually a lot worse than the original. Remember the stupid doll factory? Yeah, that wasn´t scary at all. That was shit.Condemned 1 may be a little pulpy, but a lot of stuff in the horror genre is. The second one aimed waay to high (including Multiplayer? Who thought that was a good idea?) and failed.
