Game with most playable characters?

I'm thinking Dynasty Warriors..

All of the Suikoden games have 108 characters in them, most of which can be added to your party.

Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 has 74 playable characters.

One of the DBZ games had like 140 I think, though many were the same character in a different form.

Chrono Cross has like 45.

Less than half of that number are actually worth using.

Little Big Planet has an obscene number of official characters to play as, plus any custom costume you can think of.

That counts, the movelists are completely different for the different forms.

Gran Turismo 5 or Forza 4? They have a lot of different cars you can play as :D

@Hizang: You don't play as the Pokemon, you play as a trainer controlling the pokemon. Also, I don't think there is any one game that has all 500+ pokemon in it as playable?

How many characters did Marvel vs Capcom 2 have again? Like... 84? That game had two versions of wolverine for no real reason, I think it wins.

I seem to remember Suikoden had over a 100 recruitable characters or something.
