Recently I've been thinking of investing in a gamer chair, payday is coming up and I've been loooking on the net for a decent one for a reasonable price. Just wondered if anyone could reccomend one or if not give me some guidence. Right now im torn between the 'UGC v3'
http://www.thegamingcollection.com/Ultimate_Game_Chair_V3.htm

and the 'Deluxe X-Rocker Recliner'
http://www.pyramatgamingchairs.co.uk/x-rocker/deluxe-x-rocker-recliner/

I'm from the UK and as you can see they are £350 and £400 respectively.
what do you think?

thanks muchly :)

Might I ask what's so appealing about these gamer chairs? Why would anyone prefer to spend money on one when you most likely have something perfectly fine in your home to begin with?

Not flaming, just asking.

I just think theyre cool, vibration, integrated sound, comfort, i dont actually have a chair where i do most of my gaming, all i have is my bed and its a bit too far away so i thought if i was going to get a chair i might aswell get a nice fany one as ive got some money to blow.

I've had a chair with speakers in it before and it was quite awesome. I got it for free though.

Explosions and whatnot are just insane with one of those, it adds a lot to the experience. The problem though is that it's purely sound based. It would be way better if it was integrated into the game to only process sound effects and not talking or music.

Those chairs seem pretty cool but man, £400 is a lot of money for a chair.

I just lay down on the leather love seat in my game room.

Out of those two, I would choose the ULG Deluxe V3.

Save the money and invest it toward a better home theater system. Surround sound, big display, etc. If you want your chair to rattle just put the woofer near it.

IMO anyway, and what do I know. Spend ur cash as u see fit. The leather one looks comfy.

You could get a hell of a surround system and a good chair from DFS for that price!

QFT.  Better investment in my opinion.

But if I HAD to pick, i'd get the second one.

I personally would never buy a gaming chair; its a really juvenile piece of decor imo.

Assuming you don't already have one, I agree with saving up the money for a nice surround system.

I bought a Gamer Chair like 5 months ago, I don't regret that at all.
Speakers all around, cool ways to hook up your controllers so it works with whatever console you're using.
Table for my food, and holders for my coke.. Love it

I would pick the second option myself if someone held a gun to my head
