" You can sort if see that barrier when you write certain questions at the giantbomcast and that all they pick is questions like " whats your favorite color " instead of " why don't you review sports games although its a relevant genre among the gamers? " "If that was your question (or anyone else's) that was written, they probably didn't answer it because it's been responded to several times in various bombcasts. But I do agree that there is some disconnection between the community and the guys. But they do pay attention to the forums and other stuff (Brad mentioning the "video game asses" list on the recent bombcast), so there's not a total disconnect.
Giantbomb looking to expand its crew soon, who would you hire?
" @mrfizzy said:Really? why? or am i missing something???" Alex Navarro, Rich Gallup and Leigh Alexander. And on the off chance that anyone from the GiantBomb staff is reading this, i shall convince you by saying "do it do it do it do it!!!" (come on, everbody join in!) Actually, lets just say what were all thinking, get back the gamespot team, you know, the one they had before it all went to shit? (Ryan, Jeff, Alex, Carrie, Greg, Rich) and keep all the new giantbombers of course. "I like Leigh, I Have a small suspicion that the general site member base does not however, "
If you like Leigh, then I don't think you should read this, Also, don't comment on it, we don't need to bring this up, again.

I'm just gonna name some of the old Gamespot cast that I've like to see here, even though they're all making games now. I'd love to see Greg Kasavin or Alex Navarro. Sure, I can't expect it to happen, but it would be cool. I see a lot of people mentioning Brian Eckberg, and that'd be a great idea since GB gives sports games no love. And well, Gilbert Arenas probably won't have much else to do after the whole gun thing, so maybe he'd be available.
RICH GALLUP
Well. This thread was fun :)
Definitely not me. I only play shooters, 2d platformers on XBLA, and the occasional match of Street Fighter.
They need someone who's willing to play anything, even a sonic game.
Someone new, a gamer who is not jaded, who can write decently, who will strive to do good work instead of rest on the laurels of success and try to enforce his/her opinion as the opinion, constantly pushing personal preference agendas with every single post of his/hers. Someone who will strive to do the best he/she can in whatever task is at hand, whether that's a review, a feature, fact checking, well informed news reporting, or anything.
" There was some board awhile ago about having Jason Ocampo handle PC games. Yeah, I wouldn't know who to hire. I'd get fired. :P "Jason has gone to the development side. He said it in a Mobcast ep, I think it was 33 or 34, Brad was in it along whit Greg Kasavin(working on SpecOps The Line for 2K), Jason Ocampo and Aaron Thomas(Host)
