good comedy movie ideas

lately i have thought that Will Ferrell  in a movie where he is one of those ghost hunters would be funny ass hell, like those stupid guys on the discovery channel that go into a old house and scream and call the ghosts names so that they will come out and say hello.  and no dont tell me ghost busters, its not the same.
 
anyone else got some good ideas?

Three odd-ball scientists get kicked out of their cushy positions at a university in New York City where they studied the occult. They decide to set up shop in an old firehouse and become Ghostbusters, trapping pesky ghosts, spirits, haunts, and poltergeists for money. They wise-crack their way through the city, and stumble upon a gateway to another dimension, one which will release untold evil upon the city. The Ghostbusters are called on to save the Big Apple.
 
I think this would make for a hilarious comedy movie. What do you think?

In want Zooey Deschanel to play "Pikachu" in your Michael Cera-Pokemon movie.  None of this CG crap either.  I want her in a yellow costume with rosy cheek make up.

Just make it about Karen Matthew's real-life, ill-fated attempt to hide her daughter in an attempt to claim the missing person's money.
