@dox: Wow, that looks great. Very fresh approach to strategy games. I do remember an old rts game attempting something similar (orbital constructions above the battlefield), though way smaller in scope. It's called Metal Fatigue I believe. Did you guys draw any inspiration from that game?
Good luck with the kickstarter!
Haha, this is too funny. That second monitor is supposed to be for work stuff, yous gon' get busted!
@dox: That looks awesome, I cant promise anything, but this looks like a project that I would be into.
On a general note, I loved playing Total Annihilation with my cousin, and racing to get the overpowered dooms day gun. I didn't actually own it my self so I couldn't play it. But he would bring it to my grand parents house and we would install it on the computers up in the dorms.
@dox: Given that you guys got me with MNC and SMNC, I don't see why I wouldn't be giving you money on anything you ever did.
HOWEVER, there is ONE stipulation to me giving money to this fund: is there a confirmation that there will be bacon in this game?
That IS a deal breaker! O__________O
I'll just play total annihilation and kingdoms. I really didn't care for MNC or SMNC. Good luck though.
Sadly I don't think you guys have a hope in hell of meeting that high of a goal for an RTS game, but I put down my $20 and hope this game gets to see the light of day. I got into PC gaming and bought my first PC because of a little RTS known as Command and Conquer. So the RTS genre has a special place in my heart and it makes me sad that no one is making good ones any more. If you guys could somehow wrap Joe Kucan into the game I will up my bid to $100! That is a promise!
900k is a fucking joke. Double Fine didn't ask for that much. But the game looks cool, or is that just cgi?
Man, I was ready to write this kickstarter off just like I've done with every single one of these projects.
But seeing that it's Uber... I love those guys. And I feel really guilty for the 60+ hours I've played of SMNC without paying a dime. Guess it's time to bust out the wallet....

@jakob187: I don't know if we have committed to putting bacon in the game. You have to let the bacon happen naturally during the development process. I you start forcing bacon into things you end up with stuff like bacon infused mayo. Bacon goes on top of mayo not in it!
^^^ Uber needs to keep this man around. He knows what he's talking about AND he's an excellent salesman.
Multi-planet battles is the next logical step for large-scale RTS. I'd love to see something like this combined with, say, Sins of a Solar Empire. Alas, what a sweet dream it is. I'm pretty sure I'll back this.

That would be insane if you could zoom all the way into a view like this in Sins or something similar and control the ground battles.
