Has anyone run into to this while on Steam

...and yes, my internet connection is just fine. I'm on this forum, aren't I? Also, Idon't have anything running that would interfere with steam such as a firewall.

Steam becomes unstable for me sometimes, but once I'm in-game no problems (single player). ReBoot, defrag or contact steam support, email, another web browser, etc..

No, but I've had problems with the flash fucking up periodically.

You have to remember that Steam runs off IE and that IE is complete shit.

I've only had that happen one time a looong long time ago. Nothing to worry about though, least it shouldn't be. It was fixed shortly after.

If it didn't go away I'd be advising you to delete everything in the \Steam\ folder but \steamapps\ and Steam.exe

hmm, i fixed it. I never use IE, I switch between firefox, opera, and chrome. But i opened up google on IE and i got the prompt telling me that i was working offline and needed to connect to continue. So IE wasn't connected, but opera was? Whatever the case, problem solved.
