Usually you hear of people always bumping the difficulty up, but have you ever decided to bump it down after completing the game on a higher difficulty? I did that with Metal Gear Solid 3 for some odd reason. Just did it for the hell of it.
Have you ever played a game on easy after completing it on normal

I did Mirror's Edge on hard shooting guns, then did it on easy not shooting guns. It was much more difficult/frustrating on easy w/out guns...
I did it on hard without shooting guns XD That was a mistake, lmao.
But to answer the question, I went back and played Bioshock on easy as everyone said it was essentially god mode. Twas quite fun :)
Yes, I do it to farm achievements and have a good time. I'm intending to replay infamous 2 on easy to get the hero achievements and story.
i rarely get time to play games twice. but im currently playing infamous 2 and i will play that twice one as bad and once as good. but i wont be playing it on easy the second time il up it to the harder difficulty.
I always play the Call of Duty games on veteran on the first playthrough and then turn the difficulty down if I want to play through the story again.
Actually I do this often because after I've mastered a game on normal or hard, I find it very gratifying to destroy the computer while enjoying the story and gameplay mechanics. I also find it helps me smell the roses more when set to easy since the game is less intense. I also find that going back and playing on easy allows me to think more about how I play, which allows me to get more creative and have a different kind of fun while playing. I suppose it makes perfect sense, but playing on easy often can help me become a better player. When returning to a harder difficulty, I find I'm a lot more creative in the way I kick ass.
Sometimes I get the urge to play something, just for the feeling or whatever like listening to a favourite song and those are the times i'll usually just play on easy.
Hell no. Once I beat a game, that's it. I'm not gonna go back and play it on a different difficulty. Why would I do that?
Can't think of anything off the top of my head, but I know there have beem times when I would set it to easy because I just wanted to play it again to make different story choices.
The only time I remember doing this was with Sparkster on the Mega Drive. It was rather disappointing since they make you skip whole levels.
