Recently I've been asking my friends this and they think I'm kind of odd for having about 150-175 (both PS3 and 360) but seeing some people post on other threads makes me seem as though I'm on the smaller end of the spectrum compared to some of you!

I own a lot of fucking games. I'm probably never going to touch the majority of them either.

#3 Posted by Sayishere (1838 posts) -

Not many, i sell all my games. Kinda regret now but, gives me more money to buy new ones so:P.

#4 Posted by phrali (646 posts) -

i hope to god you didn't pay full price for all 150-175.

that's like 10 grand. in one console generation.

TEN FUCKING GRAND

#5 Posted by Aetheldod (3495 posts) -

Around 200 ... even after I sold a lot of them too :P

#6 Posted by Giantstalker (1514 posts) -

160 on Steam alone. Haven't bothered to check everywhere else but I'd wager the total would be close to 400 including all the old consoles and the boxed PC games.

Physical copies of games for current systems: 9. I hate having things around that I don't use, just taking up space, so as soon as I am done with a game I trade it in, fuck collecting! :D

#8 Posted by mylifeforAiur (3481 posts) -

I own a game or two.

Steam says 408, but that's some DLC and a pretty significant chunk of those were either gifts, bundles or free through other means. Also, I never buy anything on Steam for full price. The most I ever paid was like £23 for Borderlands, £19 for Dead Island and other than everything was sub £5.

I recently bought an Xbox, so I currently own 7 Xbox games. Enslaved, Fable 2, Dirt 3, Kameo, Halo: Reach, and Gears 1 & 2.

Edit: Steam calculator says it is worth $3000 but as most things were bought for 50-75% off and obviously bundles and stuff, I'd wager that I have spent $1000-1500 since making my Steam account in 2007. That's far too much and it makes me sad.

161 games on Steam, I've probably played about half of them.

#11 Posted by Imsorrymsjackson (855 posts) -

Around 500 for various consoles and a lot of Steam games. Probably haven't played around half of them.

#12 Posted by ian280291 (110 posts) -

About 300-400 as a rough ball park figure, this includes console, PC,handhelds and even apps. I never trade games in 'cause they don't seem worth it to me

#13 Posted by Joey_Connell (56 posts) -

About 200 across current gen consoles. There's about 50 i've never put more then 20 minutes. I always tell myself i'll get to them someday but that's seeming less likely as this gen starts to wrap up.

#14 Posted by ImmortalSaiyan (4674 posts) -

Not quite sure. I'd wager between 2 and 3 hundred.

#15 Posted by awesomeusername (4153 posts) -

Only counting my PS3 games, since that's my only current gen console, I have 22 games. but I've played/beat over 50 games this gen.

#16 Edited by Contrarian (1143 posts) -

Across all of my conoles and only talking about full retail disc/cart games, somewhere between 1200 and 1300 last count. That is a collection growing since the mid 90s, but mostly it has grown since about 2002, with the Gamecube and GBA. The consoles would be Gameboy, Gameboy Colour, Gameboy Advance, DS, 3DS, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Wii, PS1, PS2, PS3, PSP, Xbox, Xbox 360, PC/Mac, Sega Master System and Sega Mega Drive - all still connected and functioning. I generally add about 120-150 games a year and spend somewhere between $2-3,000 on them. What can I say .... I like computer games.

#17 Posted by face15 (1273 posts) -

In terms of current consoles I've got like 40 PS3 games, like 5 Wii Games and 60 games in Steam.

I thought I played a lot of games. I don't even understand how anyone could possibly have enough time to play 200 games. That's wild.

I have a list on my profile that I update when I buy and sell games. It's up to 314 but I know I'm missing some.

#20 Posted by CookieMonster (2416 posts) -

some number close to 200, probably. Got loads of old ass gba games sitting around somwhere which would add to that.

#21 Posted by Shaymarx (113 posts) -

Around 40, 360 games on disc and 115 XBLA game. Around 10 DS/3DS games plus all the ambassador games for the 3DS. Not many games brought at RRP, including Microsoft points, so sometime we get a little crazy on the market place.

#22 Posted by Salarn (463 posts) -

Somewhere around 1500 as a rough estimate

#23 Posted by nintendoeats (5975 posts) -

1143.

#24 Edited by falling_fast (2180 posts) -

are we counting steam (and gog) games? if so, a lot.

#25 Posted by Hizang (8534 posts) -

About 250-300.

#26 Posted by HarlechQuinn (444 posts) -

Roughly estimation around 500-600 spread around various systems...

#27 Edited by BulletproofMonk (2718 posts) -

Right now probably around 70-80. I used to trade a lot of my games away. Still do sometimes but nowhere near as often.

#28 Posted by Progman9000 (258 posts) -

Somewhere around 500-520 (including Steam).

#29 Edited by ProfessorEss (7254 posts) -

If my list is accurate 123.

I don't hold on to my old consoles or games so I've never really amassed a huge collection but this is by far the most I've ever owned in a generation.

#30 Posted by destruktive (1069 posts) -

about a 1000.

#31 Posted by A_Dog (743 posts) -

Steam says 258. Add to that PS3 games, which is probably around 50, so around 300, I guess.

how do you get around connecting them at the same time? I have 6 older consoles hooked up to a 2004 CRT TV and I have to use two A/V switches which is a little bit of a pain.

#33 Posted by Skyfire543 (651 posts) -

I dont know. Probably around 150 - 200? I don't keep tabs on my games. I could have more.

#34 Edited by Hamst3r (4437 posts) -

Well, the keep-track-of-your-shit program I have says I own 543 games, but it hasn't been updated in about 6 months.

#35 Posted by Jrinswand (1695 posts) -

I have probably about 180 games in this house. I've got various old consoles (N64, Dreamcast, Xbox, etc.) spread out among my old houses.

#36 Edited by verticalstripes (33 posts) -

Xbox 360: 17
Wii: 3
Xbox: 7
Gamecube: 8
N64: 15
PC: 2

Total: 52

I also have a handful of Gameboy/GBA games lying around that probably bring the total closer to 60.

#37 Posted by Gamer_152 (14051 posts) -

I own about 260 although I've played quite a few more than I own myself, I've borrowed from friends, my brother, etc. I don't feel like I own anywhere near that many and yet there they are.

100+ on Steam. I sell all my physical games to buy music/more games.

#39 Posted by OldGuy (1493 posts) -

Twixt Apple II, PC, Amiga, SNES, Genesis, Gamecube, XBOX 360, PS3, Steam, GoG and Origin... ~1000+

A lot.

#41 Posted by mscupcakes (612 posts) -

Raptr says I have 572 games but I guarantee I have much more!

#42 Posted by ManU_Fan10ne (662 posts) -

i think around 32

#43 Posted by Ariketh (606 posts) -

I own about 200 on Steam (PC) alone, and I don't even live in America anymore (I live in China, making it a little difficult for me to buy games on Steam sometimes). That doesn't include my games in America, which is probably around the same size as yours, and I haven't lived in America for about 2 years. So don't let your friends make you feel bad. You've got a decent collection of games. Your friends just aren't as dedicated as you are. They're probably jealous.

#44 Posted by BaneFireLord (2908 posts) -

A little over 100.

#45 Posted by njean777 (46 posts) -

I own about 50-60 on steam, about half of them have been played. Most of the others are mainly there for a time when I want to play them or just backups of games that I really liked from this gen (Fallout 3, NV, Skyrim, Max Payne 3, etc.). And I have about 20 games on PS3. No games for my Vita, which I may end up selling off. But I have a considerable amount and most of them are on Steam even though I mainly play my Ps3. I am weird I know.

#46 Posted by Dagbiker (6939 posts) -
  • 19 PS2
  • 6 PS3
  • 6 PSV
  • 186 PC
  • 25 XBOX
  • 28 DS
  • 3 3DS

273 Total

#47 Posted by fugie7 (1105 posts) -

I own bout 45 games.
#48 Posted by StarvingGamer (7919 posts) -

Probably somewhere between 300-400 if I had to guess. Closer to 800 if you count all of the dumb Free App of the Day shit I've been getting on my Droid from the Amazon Marketplace.

#49 Posted by Redbullet685 (6021 posts) -

Between every system that I own, I have around 200-300 I would have to guess.

#50 Posted by _Chad (962 posts) -

For all my everything I own SNES, N64, PS2, Gamecube, Xbox, PS3, 360, Wii and on Steam probably close to 450
