With my current school schedule I generally play about two days a week (Friday and Saturday). On Fridays I have a bit more time and can get in 3-5 hours. On Saturday I usually get in 1-2 hours
How many hours a day/week do you play video games?
I can still spend several hours each day playing something that really grabs my attention, with Uncharted 4 being the most recent example. I think I played that in 4-5 hour sessions since tuesday, though I did take breaks instead of doing it all in one sitting.
Otherwise it really depends, but it's usually something like 1-2 hours I'd say. Gone are the days of playing and idling in WoW for 10 hours...for better or worse.
On weekdays maybe 1-2 hours at most. On weekends I can easily go 4+ hours. That probably averages around 10-15 hours max a week.
I have no life so gaming works out great and I know I'm suppose to care about life but I fucking don't. lol
I work full-time in web development, and put in probably 2-3 hours a day, with potentially up to 8 hours in one night for clan/guild events.
Then again, I have fuck all for a real social life so... XD
0-2 hours a day. Though I'd hate to actually know what all that phone game time adds up to. Less than proper video games, right? RIGHT?
Too much time. 2-3 hours a day, and much longer on weekends. It's just so much more convenient than any of my other hobbies.
So all over the place these days. Some weeks 0, some weeks 20.
The more interesting thing for me is that in the last 10 years I've played almost no multiplayer. In the last 10 months I've played very little but multiplayer.
10-22 I'd say....maybe up to 30, if I'm being really honest with myself (tho this is rare). I rarely watch movies (haven't been to a theater in a long time), don't watch TV, but I do read the occasional book. Video games are my main hobby. If you balance it well with work and exercise, it actually is a rewarding hobby. I sometimes do binge (3-4 hour sessions), but I counter balance that by taking longer breaks in between gaming sessions. It really depends on my work schedule these days. This takes into account that I have had a lot of free time over the last few months, but that can and will change.
I'm working 40-44 hours a week presently and another 20-30 hours on a youtube channel on the side, of course because of the youtube channel I wind up playing games a fair amount more but they aren't necessarily relaxing anymore. As far as non youtube gaming time probably like 5 hours a week (Hearthstone doesn't count).
As much as I can man, I'm just living for that next hit, you know? I'm at work, I'm thinking of that next quick dose I'm gonna get, I'm at a wedding fuck it man I'm whipping out my 3DS getting a few rounds in. Funerals? Bus rides? On the streets, man I'll haul out my PC with a generator as a backpack man I don't give a shit.
Vape life, bitch.
(Like 13-16 hours a week, I guess)
Generally a few hours on Saturday and Sunday morning regularly. We usually don't have weekend morning plans so I can usually get 3-6 hours in each morning.
Also a little on Friday night.
Id say, for example this week, I will play games for about 10 hours.
My big game sessions are usually relegated to flex days (one every two weeks or so), if I have nothing important its not uncommon for me to play all day until my GF gets home from work. that can sometimes be 10 hours.
Flex weeks would probably be around 16-20
depending on what I'm playing/how into it I am
at best two to three hours a day
probably more of an average of about 10 hours a week
@doctordonkey: There are good comments and there are GREAT ones.
Some weeks, not an hour. Other weeks, I'll somehow squeeze in 30-40 hours between working full time and going to the gym. I have to alternate or I think my wife would kill me.
Several is the closest of an answer I can get whenever I see this question: I'm always left clueless to it. Sometimes I'll put 20 hours into a game throughout the week, others maybe 5. Then there'll will be occasions where personal heavy hitters come out and I sink like 50 to 60 hours into them. (MGSV, or Fallout 4 for example) It's also somewhat regular for me to go an entire week without picking up a controller. I guess what I'm getting at is I'm a sporadic video game player.
Nowdays I am working most days of the week and then I need to spend time in the evenings to prepare lessons. I haven't played anything other than LoL in the last four months. During school term I get roughly 3-5 hours a week though much closer to 3 normally. Outside of that... up to maybe 20? It seems like so long ago (1.5 years) that I was in university with limitless gaming time...
I play a hour or two a day, but I don't even play everyday so I play around 6 hours a week. I definitely play videogames way less than I used to thanks to work, college, and a social life. Honestly I don't really miss playing video games as I much as I used to. I guess my interests have changed.
I beat the original Kingdom Hearts, start to finish, in a week a few months ago, so I can get thirty hours of gaming in a week. It took me a month to beat Dark Souls 3, though, and that took 33 hours, so I guess it just depends. Average is probably five to ten hours over the whole weekend and an hour or two on weekdays.
I don't often watch movies these days. Sometimes I'll watch TV or anime, but not that often. I do read books but gaming is the main thing I do when I want to relax.
