I have $50 to spend on Steam.

What should I get?

I was thinking of Burnout Paradise. I'd rather get the physical copy, like I would every game, but it has some pretty bad DRM (not looking to get into a debate about DRM) so I have no choice. I'm probably going to buy that, unless someone suggests something better. The PC doesn't have that many great driving games though so it's a good buy.

For the last $10 I was thinking of Psychonauts or Sid Meier's Pirates (I loved Civ 4, and this looks pretty good to me). I've heard that Pirates gets old after a while; is it the same for Psychonauts?

Psychonauts is a kick ass game.  Definitely worth $10 in my book.

If you're into that sort of thing, I suggest stocking up on old and new adventure games.

Burnout's good, but do note that a bunch of Relic titles including Dawn of War II are 50% off right now.

Never really got into adventure games... but then again I never really played many. I had a RTS hook at one point, even though I suck at that kind of game; Dawn of War doesn't seem like my thing.

You might not be keen on waiting, but in a couple months the GOTY version of Fallout 3 will be released with all the DLC included.

Psychonauts is definately worth 10 dollars so get that for sure. But other then that  I dont buy from steam so I dont really know what else is available.

Get Trine if your into that kind of thing, I love that game.

You know you could get Company of Heroes (+ the 1st expansion), Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War (+ the expansion) and Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War 2 for your $50 this weekend.  That's 5 games (well, 3 + 2 expansions) for your money.
