I'm kind of surprised that a Gold/Silver news article isn't up

Although I understand why the staff might feel tepid towards a remake in the Pokemon series, which has long been fairly stagnant, these are remakes of two of the best selling games ever. And there's even a few screengrabs now.

I agree, but I dont expect anything to change. I've accepted that this site won't be covering handhelds the same way they do consoles

This site is very light on news.  It's far more about video content and reviews, and split between a four member editorial staff (five if you include the occasional Snide post), we're lucky we get the news posts we do.  Kotaku this is not. 

There's not much to report that hasn't been reported by other gaming sites; and the only semi-legit looking feature confirmations can be found in the NeoGAF thread for it, so until those are official nobody wants to look like an idiot. It won't be news worthy until any of that gets confirmed- and when it does, the world will go apeshit.

Yeah, but when the Beyond Good and Evil video broke GiantBomb had no problem doing a news article for it, despite the fact there was already a thread about it"
