Hey,

Been thinking of treating myself and getting a new pc and wanted to know if the one I have found is any good for gaming , which is what I really want my pc for.

Here are the specs of the pc.

CPU - AMD FX-4100 Black Edition 3.6GHz

Memory - 4GB Ram DDR3

Storage- 500GB Hard drive

Graphics - AMD Radeon HD 7750

Power supply - 700W

Yeah so if you could just let me know if this is a good choice and tell me the Pro's and Con's it would be really helpful , Thanks.

Will that play pretty much every modern day game? Yes. Will that play pretty much every modern day game on the highest settings, at 60 frames per second, and at 1080p? No. In fact, in order to achieve a consistent 60 frames, you'll probably play most modern games at medium settings and at 720p, and some of the heavier ones like BF3 and Metro 2033 will probably need to be bumped down even further. I also don't think it would play next year's heaviest (in terms of requirements) games at console quality settings. EDIT: Maybe I'm being a little overcautious on that estimate, but don't expect it to play games for a whole lot longer than a year or two. /EDIT.

That rig is very much entry level and if you're just wanting to get your feet wet with PC's, then I guess it would be all right. But I would at least get an Intel processor, a better power supply, and a better graphics card. You should also give us more details on the parts you've picked out, and what motherboard are you getting?
