" Damn it. Did time change in America then? "Yeah, Daylight Savings Time occurred this past weekend, turning the clocks back an hour. I know you Brits don't change, so that's why you were confused.
" @Pie said:No we changed before you did. There was a week where all live giant bomb content was an hour earlier....what a week that was.........!" Damn it. Did time change in America then? "Yeah, Daylight Savings Time occurred this past weekend, turning the clocks back an hour. I know you Brits don't change, so that's why you were confused. "
I wish it could be friday or saturday night throwdown so that I might actually watch it for once. ;(
" @Pie said:We do change, but did it a week before you. I hope that clears up your confusion!" Damn it. Did time change in America then? "Yeah, Daylight Savings Time occurred this past weekend, turning the clocks back an hour. I know you Brits don't change, so that's why you were confused. "
" @CitizenKane said:This is America, people change to our way of life. Not the other way around." You Brits should just change your clocks when we do. That way, neither of us is confused. "No u "
Silly person you are.
" @Pie: The closer to the speed of light you travel, the faster time goes for everything around you. If you was in a spaceship orbiting earth going the speed of light, a year to you would be hundreds of years on Earth. I think. " Why doesn't the whole world just use GMT? It should be a universal standard. "Why doesn't the U.S. just adopt the metric system already?
I have no fucking clue.
No it wouldn't be. People would just adjust their day fit the hours of light. So a standard working day is 9-5 (ish). In the UK and other GMT area's, that wouldn't change. In area's that used to be GMT+1 the standard working day will be 8-4 GMT. In area's that used to be GMT-1 it'll be 10-6 GMT. In area's that used to be GMT-7 it would be 5(pm)-1(am) GMT. And so on. And rather than adjusting times for daylight savings, we would just shift our hours of work forward or backwards an hour. It's a brilliant plan and anyone who says otherwise is wrong. Instead of adjusting timezones, we adjust working hours. It would take a while to get used to, but once you're used to it, it will be perfect." @MattyFTM said:
That might be more confusing. I mean think about it "" Why doesn't the whole world just use GMT? It should be a universal standard. "
