Local Co-op Games?

I'm looking for games I can play on my PC that allow for multiplayer using one computer. I only have a 15.6 inch screen so I think it would be a good idea to avoid split screen. I remember playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 for Xbox 360 and that was a great coop game, but unfortunately it is not available for PC. Something similar (action/rpg? I'm bad with genres) would be great but I'm open to any fun multiplayer games.

For reference, we normally play League of Legends and StarCraft but have good experience with N64, PS1/2, Xbox 360.

I'm not sure what can be done to (legally) play it on PC though.

I remember having fun with the X-men games, which I think are the predecessors of those Marvel Ultimate Alliance games. I just recently played Magicka and that's still fun too.

I want to say Magicka has local coop. But I could be wrong.
