Hey guys, just looking in to a console to play old games, however I forget if the D pad on there was relevant to playing the fighting games that were on the Original Xbox?
Looking to purchase Original Xbox to relive my youth............
original Xbox to relive your youth?
How old are you?
When I'm going to relive my youth I bust out the NES or TurboGrafx
" original Xbox to relive your youth?thats exactly what i was thinking. he must be like 10 now.

" @Coombs: @Ryax: He's probably 16-18. Some of us started gaming quite a bit later, you know. I didn't start until I was about 14. "Is 14 your youth when you're 16-18? Wouldn't that just be relive the past?
It might be different in the US because people leave school at 18 though.
The original xboxes dpad wasn't nearly as bad as the 360's I would still recommend getting an arcade stick on the cheap.
" @Ryax said:Also thinking the same, The original Xbox wasn't even all that long ago. I'm not exactly old (21) but to "Relive your youth" when it was only 5 years or so, sounds weird to me." @Coombs said:First thing that sprung to mind for me as well. This thing is you can't relive your youth if it was only a few years ago. Maybe in ten more years you can claim playing X-Box is reliving your youth. Although frankly, when I play PS1 games I don't think back to when I play. I mean, I'm even playing them on a PS3. Now, when I play the 2600, which is plugged into my 46" HDTV that is reliving a bygone era of youth.
