Do Mass Effect DLC affect the Mass Effect 2 dlc? I'm going through the first one (so i can make the story more personalized if i make my actions as oppose to choosing them) and i'm wondering if i should get the first Mass Effect's DLC. Do the DLCs change anything in Mass Effect 2?
Mass effect DLC effect Mass Effect 2
I seriously doubt it other than to give you some more XP perhaps and boost you over level 50 or up to level 60 on your second time through with the same character. The reason I believe this is...
In Mass Effect 2, the majority (but not all) of the quests you've completed in Mass Effect 1 just come back as emailed remarks from the original quest's participants. Shepard is constantly getting letters from people she did a quest for in the first game. She also gets emails from people she did quests for in ME2, too so there is consistency. Adding in a few new emails wouldn't be hard for Bioware, but I'm not sure they'd do it considering it is paid content (on the 360) and therefore not everyone who played ME1 will have completed the quest line. As for the DLC having any impact on the DLC from ME2, so far the answer is no. The two DLC options are the additional character Zaeed and a trip to the Normandy 1.
Not really. From what I've read on the official ME forums, data from the decisions you make in the Bring Down The Sky DLC gets transferred from ME2, but I can't remember where in the story the consequences are seen. I think it's sufficient to say that both DLC for ME1 are pretty much irrelevant to the main story.
