Hello folks!

As you may have seen Abby, Ben, and I have embarked on a journey through our childhood recently by watching some good ol' "DCom Originals" together. We started with Smart House and we recently watched Brink.

Next week we plan on watching "The Other Me" which stars the director of the cinematic masterpiece that is "Money Plane".

With all that out of the way, we wanted to ask YOU what you'd like to see as the fourth movie in our Mickeys and Whiskies series. Do you want Zenon, Phantom at the Megaplex, Johnny Tsunami, or something super obscure from that era?

Let us know!

Not too picky about the movie but I'd like to see Business Dave on as a guest for one of these

I mean you could go for Johnny Tsunami, or you could be really wild and go straight for Johnny Tsunami 2 (the best movie in the Johnny Tsunami franchise)!

I think Zenon is a must. Johnny Tsunami is great. But I would also suggest Luck of the Irish and Alley Cats Strike.

So they're going to definitely be Disney Channel movies for the forseeable future? I canceled my Disney+ sub and wasn't planning on bringing it back until whenever the MCU/Mando season 2 stuff starts dropping, but this might cut the mustard...

I was always a huge fan of The Famous Jett Jackson but if I recall his movie wasn't all that. Which maybe means it's a great Drunk Adult Watch?

I remember Escape to Witch Mountain being a cult hit as a kid - it's not only got Brink! as leading boy, but Young Elisabeth Moss as leading girl!

I promise you that it would be worth it to watch Material Girls starring Hillary and Haylie Duff in a Sense & Sensibility adaptation that has little of either. One of my favorite drunken hate watches to the point I've only done it once and still recommend it to anyone whenever I think of it! This would be an Amazon Prime call, though.

My personal favorite is the movie Disney made based on Tower of Terror. It has Steve Guttenberg and Kirsten Dunst!

My Date With The President's Daughter or H.E.Double Hockey Sticks. Really, anything with Will Friedle. He was great in any Disney movie or show he was in during that time.

Motocrossed.

I think I've probably watched it 10+ times total. It was one of those TV movies that was just constantly on for some reason during the summers from about '01-'03.

You gotta do Pixel Perfect at some point, just to see Disney do the whole virtual idol thing right before the whole virtual idol thing took off.

Motocrossed, Halloweentown, and Johnny Tsunami 1/2 have all been recommended but gotta throw down for them too. I also have good memories of Stepsister from Planet Weird, Get a Clue (w/ Lindsay Lohan), and Stuck in the Suburbs. And if any of the crew has any love for even stevens the movie is actually like, really really funny from what I remember?

Looking at a list of the movies here, I would honestly watch most of these again. I actually revisited several when D+ hit last year, including smart house. I tried to watch the first Zenon again too and honestly couldn't stomach it but I'm thinking maybe the sequels were better. Revisiting some of these seems like just the comfort food I need right now.

EDIT: H.E. Double Hockey Sticks, Tower of Terror, and My Date With the President's Daughter are all great but those were Wonderful World of Disney movies not DCOs. Can probably wait a bit before reaching into that glorious well of content

I've not seen Luck of the Irish but the name conjures up a stereotype that I don't think Disney can handle subtly. Should be fun.

This is the cross-gender girl cuts her hair and hangs with the boys movie, right?

I remember SkyHigh being kinda weird and bad in a way that might be enjoyable, although I haven't seen it years so who knows at this point.

I do also second the Stuck In the Suburbs, Halloweentown, and Luck of the Irish movie reqs.

Did I spend too much time in my teenage years listening to “we’re at the top of the world” by The Juliana Theory while riding my dirt bike alone but wishing I had a friend?

Yes.

Put a vote in for Motocrossed.

The Thirteenth Year(?)

There’s a movie where somebody turns into a mermaid(??)

Like at 13 or 16(???)

I thought the movie I’m thinking of was about a guy who met a mermaid at 16(????)

But this movie looks like it’s about a guy who turns into a mermaid at 13(?????)

Are these the same movie or are there two Disney channel mermaid movies(??????)

.....Anyways, you all should watch one of those mermaid movies.

I am personally hoping for Halloweentown but that is because I also hope we get another series of Film and Forties for October and it would make a great bridge movie.

You know Halloween IS right around the corner so it might be appropriate. I also thought about pulling out a wild card and forcing Ben and Abby to watch one of the newer DCom originals that's also a musical.

Thanks for the suggestions y'all!
