Wait, really? Do Volkswagen endorse it at least? Seems silly to pay for low quality stuff, if not.

Volkswagen will look the other way if you buy one, but they don't acknowledge its existence. Comedy Central endorses it fully, though. But only the top half. Below the neck is a legal no-man's-land. Kind of like myself.
