Doesn't bother me, I'm using Skype for chatting with the folks I play with anyway. 
Though that is kinda ballsy, but meh, if that's enough to make someone get really angry I feel sorry for that persons parents for giving birth to such a sad individual.

Like anyone was going to play it in the first place.  AMIRIGHT?  AMIRIGHT?

After playing the beta, I got the impression this game was full of terrible ideas.

I see nothing wrong with this.  It only happens when moving between regions, and only every 3 hours.  This is nothing to complain about.

I just find it moving the line a bit more.  I know games cost a fortune to make but do they really need to blast it in my ear.  Billboards not good enough?

The tradition channels of advertising, television, radio, and print media, are on the down swing.  Marketers are starting to use more viral and invasive ways to advertise products, it is something that will not be going away any time soon.

Wow just wow. First APB gives out a Pay to Play system when they advertised that they would be F2P...and now they add in annoying blatant advertisements on top of it!?!?

I think I've seen another thread on this but didn't respond to it.  I, personally, wouldn't mind.  I don't see or hear enough advertisements with the way I consume my entertainment.

I've been following APB for what feels like forever now and it's disappointing to see the trainwreck that it has become.

That sounds lame, but without money a game like that doesn't work.  Once every 3 hours isn't bad, as long as the ads aren't awful.

If they play their cards right, this could be the best idea ever. Imagine playing for a few hours, then hearing this...
