I've heard about Peggle many times on the podcasts that I listen too, but I've never actually played it before. I knew the moment I heard it was coming to XBLA, I had to check it out. Four hours later, I can say I absolutely adore it. My body ached from not moving for so long when I forced myslef to to go to bed.

I'm not sure I can easily make Peggle the casual game of choice to break up the intensity of mostly FPS games I play. It has an amazing way of drawing you in for "just one more game".  I think part of thre reason is that the game achieves such a relaxing atmosphere from the music, sound effects, and color palette. There were many times through my first outing where I compared this game to what I would see in a casino.  It has that same vibe, except your not throwing away your kid's college fund.

Easy to pick up, hard to master. That's Peggle in a nutshell. This game will have a permanent place on my gamercard for months to come.
