As some of you may have already noticed, there have been some recent issues with a small number of users on the site becoming suddenly banned with no explanation from the mod team. We would like to assure you that this is not directly due to any of our actions, and that it has been caused by what is best described as a glitch in the site. Yesterday the staff pushed a bug fix to the ban system, which due to unforeseen circumstances, caused all users who were wiki banned but not forum banned on the old site, to become forum banned as well on this site.
The mod team are currently rectifying this situation, but please understand that it will take us some time to find and unban all affected users. While we fix this problem we would like to remind you that creating alternate accounts is still against the rules, and that you do not need to create noise on the forums to have this issue fixed.
