Question about gaming if you don't mind me asking this

Fellow gamers,fellow anime fans and fellow manga fans i have a question about adult games,eroge games,hentai games, varies visual noval games including dating sims games & otome games if you don't mind me asking ahead of time if i ever try any and this question I'm asking ahead of time is because if only if i ever own any do you think i should hide them if i ever tried any of them and if i love any of them of course or proudly display them and proudly display them with my games and yes I'm also talking about if adult games,eroge games,hentai games, varies visual noval games & otome games is any of my favorite games?

And yes I'm also talking about if any of them is one of my favorite games and what if i have any favorite characters on those games not just anime and manga and before you asked me for what systems i mean any systems and yes i even mean for the PC version and PSP versions so for any systems if i ever own any adult games,eroge games,hentai games, varies visual noval games & otome games at all.

And I'm sorry for a long read since there's some adult games,eroge games,hentai games, varies visual noval games & otome games and other games are not and I'm just curios and i don't know how will she react to it whenever and when and if i put myself out there dating again and/or if she's just a good friend of mine and if she sees it and if she sees it in my collection even though i love other games,anime and manga besides adult games,eroge games,hentai games, varies visual noval games including dating sims games & otome games if i ever tried any of them and if i love any of them.

You shouldn't hide the things you love, and you shouldn't be ashamed of it either. Just do what makes you happy, but live in a world of realistic expectations.

Some peeps will find your love of hentai gross and roll their eyes at whatever you have displayed on the shelf. Other people will not.

If you really like this lady and you think she likes you, hopefully she's cool with what you enjoy. If you're very afraid maybe talk to her about those subjects and see how she feels.

The truth is that if she's really lame about Hentai and you love Hentai, you obviously aren't a match made in heaven. Which is not to say you can't have a good thing, but that you probably won't... I dunno.. Get married? Whatever it is people consider the culmination of dating these days.

I'm assuming you live in the US? I ask because feelings about these kind of games are culturally different in different countries, but here in the States there is still an unfortunate stigma about Hentai; basically that anyone who enjoys it is a maladjusted anti-social pervert. And hell, those attitudes are thrown at people for just liking Anime or Manga.

If you love it, let your flag fly. But just temper your expectations and know that most girls you're interested in who see your collection will require some explanation at the very least.

On the other hand, there are tons of girls who also love those kind of games, they've just less visible, so maybe you could try intentionally seeking out a person who shares your interests right from the start.

I dunno, I really like video games, but I wouldn't say I "proudly display" that, regardless of whether or not adult content is involved, y'know? So, typically I tend to attract and befriend the kinds of people who are more understanding of that sorta thing. If it's something to do with a potential romantic partner or a friend and you're afraid of what they might think, I'd say it depends on who that person is. Pretty much everybody I know knows how obsessed I am with Persona 4 and Chie, and I've talked about, like, Katawa Shoujo with somebody I dated once, but only 'cause it was an appropriate topic for whatever discussion we were having at the time (meaning, she was way more into dating sims than myself, haha).

But really, if you find yourself really into that stuff, to the point where you feel yourself bringing it up in conversations, then why not, I guess? Yeah, there might be people out there who'll probably find it weird, but for every one of those, there's gotta be like, three other people you haven't spoken to who'd love to discuss it with you.

I played Katawa Shoujo and it was okay but I don't exactly tell everyone I meet. Or bring it up. I also think Catherine is a really interesting game and incredibly adult without being too explicit but I guess that's not the crux of the question.

Yes you have assumed correctly i still live in the U.S if you like to know where specifically i live in Jacksonville,Florida and heck i love all cultures and i love all of their stuff if you find that weird because of I'm an American white guy to be be specific I'm an American virgin white guy and i love all cultures and i love all of their stuff i fully understand and yes I'm also including gaming,anime and manga as part of their stuff i love anyway thanks for your response :).

Not being ashamed of what you like doesn't necessarily mean displaying it in an obvious way everywhere. I don't walk around wearing nothing but video game tee-shirts and I don't bring it up with every stranger I meet but I'm also not afraid people might find out. On the other hand, hentai being somewhat in the "porn" category, I would at the same time as not being ashamed of it, not consider it something to advertise or bring up in conversation. I just don't talk about things related to porn with most people.
