Quick Looks from the past year showing *good* games?!

I'm watching the Hotline Miami QL and I ended up buying the game, I love it.

So what I'm asking for is: Quick Looks from the past 12 months that aren't showing hilariously bad games or Kinect games, or anything that is silly and funny, but rather Quick Looks like the Hotline Miami one where the gameplay is awesome and watching the guys play it is also awesome.

NOT funny QLs of bad games, but the ones showing me cool stuff I will end up buying.

Edit: I'm mostly asking for indie stuff, nothing triple-A. I have both Xbox 360 and a new PC but the priority is for PC games.

BioShock Infinite is cool stuff; you should buy it.

Euro Truck Simulator is one of the funniest Quick Looks ever. Also, these aren't exactly recent but most feel more recent than Hotline Miami at least.

I know you didn't ask for funny ones, but I included Euro Truck in spite of that.

Considering the site has been around for 6 years, I'd say the last year qualifies as recent. Do you have a better word for me to use?

Actually I'm thinking about blogging about this issue. Being a gamer is a much goddamned harder thing than being a TV fan or a reader, because the amount of time and peace of mind needed to watch and read game coverage, discuss games on forums and play dozens of 5-100 hour long games is simply impossible when I have education to keep up with and a job to attend to, not to mention all the other necessary chores and daily activities to be in shape, stay clean, hang out with friends, etc..

What makes it even harder is the fact that nothing stops you from rolling through the pages of a book or the scenes of a movie, but games are interactive, you might find an obstacle or a boss that requires a lot of time and re-trys, you need to be in the right mood for overwhelming experiences, you might screw up and re-do something, etc..

It's just impossible, I don't know how so many people around here do it.

@officegamer: Be in shape? Hang out with friends? There's two things right there that you can cut out very easily! Trust me!

@video_game_king: I refuse to use your absurd suggestion as a thread title, and that's exactly what I just did.

Ohhh no I'm not living that fat social-less out-of-shape life again, wasting my teenage years that way was enough.

It seems the only people who can be truly into games without sacrificing a decent life are those whose source of income is reviewing them. Otherwise I'd suck a dick to be taught how to have both.

@officegamer: Well, if you want to prioritize health and friendship over video games and watching other people play/commentate on video games on the internet, then that's your loss.

There are a lot of Sleeping Dogs Quick Looks and all of them, except for the very first one that didn't have Vinny in it, are golden.

@officegamer: Yup, video games. Maybe they just aren't quite as harmless as we often make them out to be. But, y'know, everything in moderation makes everything better.
